  • FeralFishScan is a free resource for landholders, community groups, recreational fishers, and biosecurity organisations.
  • Map pest fish activity, document problems you think they cause, and record control activities.

FeralScan User Feedback Survey

The FeralScan Team are conducting an important User Feedback Survey. The survey will only take 5-8 minutes of your time, and your involvement will help us to improve FeralScan for yourself and communities Australia-wide. The survey can be completed until July 31, 2024. If you would like to provide feedback, please click the link below.

What to record

  • Record pest fish activity (such as sightings of Carp, Tilapia, Goldfish, Mosquito fish, oriental weatherloach or red-fin perch)
  • Photos from pest fish captures
  • Control activities (including community fishing programs)

Use this information to work with your community to coordinate pest fish control together.
