Respond early to mice threats

Mice can cause enormous damage to crops in a very short time period. Most damage occurs during plagues, however by the time a large mouse plague is obvious, it is generally too late to do anything to reduce the damage they cause. That is why acting early and reporting mouse activity (even absence) at key times is very important.
