How to use the App

The FeralScan App can help you to record information about feral cats on your property or in your local area. The App can be downloaded onto your mobile device free-of-charge from the Apple App-Store or Google Play-store. Please refer to links available on this website.

Once installed on your mobile device, the App can be used to record information about feral cats, such as sightings, impacts (such as predation of wildlife) or control activities. Information you record using the App will display on the FeralCatScan map.

An important feature of the App is the ability for it to be used in areas without an internet connection or network coverage. Information you record with the App in areas without an internet connection will be stored within the Saved Records folder in the App, until you are back within a mobile or WiFi network. You will need to open the folder to submit your records.

We recommend you Login upon opening the App for the first time. Please refer to the attached example to help you get started, or contact us for assistance.
