Sponsors and Partners

The FeralPigScan project is part of the FeralScan Citizen Science program. This project provides a unique partnership that brings government, research, industry, business and community together to address the national problem of feral and pest animal species. All partners have interest in helping to reduce the problems caused by feral and pest animals to our primary producers, our communities, our environment, our biodiversity and our culture throughout Australia.

The project is an initiative of the Invasive Animals Cooperative Research Centre (IACRC) in partnership with NSW Department of Primary Industries, and the Australian Bureau of Agricultural and Resource Economics and Sciences (ABARES) - through Caring for our Country. The project website and mapping tools are funded through the Australian Pest Animal Research Program (via ABARES).

This program is also proudly supported by Woolworths, Toshiba, Landcare Australia, Western Catchment Management Authority (NSW), Ninti One Limited, the ABC, and community groups Australia-wide. All partners and supporters of this important national project are committed to protecting Australia from the damage caused by feral animals. Without their support, this project could not help landholders and communities Australia-wide.
